Before performing any tooth whitening treatment, it is important to ensure that your dental hygiene is as impeccable as possible. For the treatment to be more effective, it is ideal to have had a scaling performed by a dentist no more than 6 months prior to the whitening procedure.
But when you decide to have a teeth whitening session, you will need to clean your teeth.
That's why you will find in our WHITECARE Whitening Kit purifying wipes and a 17 ml cleaning spray.
Simply open the bag containing the wipe and spray the cleaning spray 4-5 times on the wipe. You then insert the wipe into your index finger and energetically rub your teeth for 30 seconds.
Once you have finished cleaning your teeth, you do not rinse your mouth but you can swallow or expectorate the remaining product. The cleaning spray has a pleasant minty flavor that is very refreshing.
Then you are ready for action. In the WHITECARE Shine Kit, you will find a syringe of 0.1% hydrogen peroxide whitening gel and a tray that you attach to the blue mini LED light.
The first thing to do is to clip the tray onto the mini-lamp. Be aware that the lamp works with two batteries. Before the first use, the lamp is inactive because the batteries are not in contact with the connector. You must therefore unscrew the lower part of the lamp and remove the small transparent plastic film that protects the batteries. The lamp will then be operational!
But before turning on the lamp, you must apply 1.5 ml of gel on the lower part of the jaw and 1.5 ml of gel on the upper part of the jaw.
In summary, your tray now contains the whitening gel. It is clipped onto the lamp and you can then insert the tray into your mouth. All you have to do is press the button on the lamp so that the blue LED light can be diffused on the tray soaked in gel and therefore on your teeth.
This light activates the whitening gel. After 20 minutes, you can remove the tray from your mouth and rinse thoroughly with clear water.
For a truly effective treatment, you must repeat the operation twice: you rub your teeth for 30 seconds with the wipe soaked in the cleaning spray, then you apply a total of 3 ml of gel to the tray, distributed over the top and bottom, and you turn on the lamp for 20 minutes.
If you have time, do these 3 sessions in a row. If not, spread each 20-minute session over 3 consecutive days.
Small bonus in the WHITECARE shine kit: you will find a 3 ml syringe of remineralizing gel Its function is simple: if your teeth seem sensitive after the treatment, you can use this gel. You just have to apply this gel on the tray and let the product act on your teeth thanks to the blue light of the LED lamp during 5 minutes maximum. At the end of the 5 minutes, do not rinse your mouth: the remineralizing gel will continue to act and it will restructure your enamel and remove the sensitivity of your teeth.
