Description PAP tooth whitening gel (x5 syringes 5ml)

The more the days go by, the more you're dissatisfied with the color of your teeth. Let's face it, even with daily brushing and a healthy diet, our teeth are under constant stress. So it's normal for the whiteness of your teeth to fade over the years.

But it doesn't have to be that way! You can restore your radiant smile by opting for a tooth whitening solution.

The most common solution is to apply a tooth whitening gel to your teeth :

    • at home, with a tray and a mini-lamp for a treatment.
    • at a beauty salon, with accelerated treatment sessions thanks to professional teeth whitening lamps and the expertise of professionals.
    • at your dentist's office.

In all these cases, the gels most commonly used contain a dose of hydrogen peroxide, the whitening agent.

But you can now choose a new product, PAP, with equally effective results.

We'll explain why in a few lines.

> What is PAP?

To put it scientifically, PAP is phthalimidoperoxycaproic acid.

This unpronounceable name has made its appearance in the world of tooth whitening in recent years.

What makes it special is that its whitening formula does not use hydrogen peroxide. It is therefore a novelty on the market. All scientific studies and clinical tests have demonstrated PAP's whitening power.

PAP also has a number of advantages: it's very well tolerated, doesn't irritate the gums, and there's little or no tooth sensitivity.

Unlike 6% hydrogen peroxide or 16% carbamide peroxide, PAP gel does not require the application of a protective gingival barrier. It is simply recommended for people with sensitive gums, to avoid any risk of inflammation.

Another point to bear in mind is that PAP is not subject to legislation governing the concentration of hydrogen peroxide, as the whitening molecule does not contain any. So, as an aesthetic professional, you can use PAP legally, while offering a safe and effective treatment for your customers.

You can use PAP with results equivalent to American teeth whitening. Beauty salons love it, because their customers demand fast, visible results.

> What is the treatment protocol for WHITECARE PAP gel?

PAP gel can be used both in beauty salons and at home.

The treatment protocol is very simple. In the beauty salon, you'll normally have all the products you need for a complete treatment: a professional color chart to help you determine the shade gain, accessories for preparing the treatment (cleansing spray and applicator wipes or sticks), protective bibs and the essential products for the treatment (gel syringe and drip tray).

Before starting the treatment, you take the professional color chart to identify the starting shade of your client's teeth. Then, when your client is comfortably seated, you begin the treatment by applying the pre-activating cleaning spray to a wipe or applicator stick. Your customer rubs his or her teeth with the spray for 30 seconds. At the end of this time, he can either swallow the excess product or spit it out, but does not rinse his mouth, as the spray not only cleans but also activates the treatment.

Once you've finished cleaning your teeth, you take the gel syringe, graduated from 0.5 to 0.5 ml, and the tray. Then fill the tray with a total of 2.5 ml of gel (half on the top and half on the bottom of the tray) and hand the tray to your customer, who inserts it into his mouth. When the tray is correctly positioned, you give your client UV glasses and bring the professional tooth whitening lamp to within 2 cm of the person's mouth. You then program the treatment for 20 minutes. At the end of the 20 minutes, the patient rinses his/her mouth with a few sips of water and you clean the tray to remove any excess product. Then repeat the operation 2 more times. So a complete treatment lasts 3 times 20 minutes, i.e. 1 hour.

At the end of the hour's treatment, all you have to do is go back to the color chart to assess the shade gain achieved. You can also offer your client a 1-hour fixing treatment in the following week to perfect the results of the teeth whitening.

At home, you can also follow a treatment protocol that includes the cleaning phase with a spray and a wipe. Then you fill your clip-on tray, fitted with a mini LED light, with 2.5 ml of product evenly distributed over the 2 jaws. Once the tray is full, you can insert it into your mouth and apply it to your teeth with gentle pressure. When the tray is correctly positioned, you can switch on the mini LED lamp and keep the tray in your mouth for 20 minutes. Once this time has elapsed, remove the tray and rinse your mouth. This treatment should be repeated every day for 10 consecutive days.

> What are the characteristics of PAP WHITECARE tooth whitening gel?

All our PAP whitening gels comply with the legislative framework requiring a cosmetic file to be completed before they can be marketed.

Our WHITECARE PAP gel syringes currently hold 5 ml. They are graduated and all have a batch number with a best-before date. This 5 ml dose is sufficient for 2 20-minute teeth whitening sessions.

Once opened, our PAP gel syringes can ideally be stored for 12 months at room temperature. Never exceed 25°C. For longer periods, store in the refrigerator.

Shade gains with PAP tooth whitening gel can vary from 4 to 9 shades, depending on the texture of the individual's enamel.

Don't forget to follow your dentist's advice on long-term teeth whitening success and a radiant smile, and to carry out regular scaling!
