Before starting your home teeth whitening, we advise you to proceed with a dental scaling so that the treatment is more effective. Otherwise, if you have a lot of tartar, the results will be much less visible.
When you are ready, here are the steps for your at-home teeth whitening:
- Cut out your paper tooth shade chart from the box and evaluate the shade of your teeth in front of a mirror. This will serve as a calibration for the rest of your teeth whitening.
- Take your tray and clip it on the mini LED light that works with 2 flat batteries CR2032 that are provided. Remember to remove the small protective tab from the battery compartment so that you can turn on the LED lamp correctly by simply pressing the button on top.
- Spray 4 to 5 times a purifying wipe with the cleaning spray and brush your teeth for 30 seconds. Do not rinse your mouth after brushing.
- Apply 1.5ml of the tooth whitening gel, using the scale on the syringe, to the inner 2 sides of the tray so that the product is on the upper and lower sides of your teeth.
- Insert the tray into your mouth and turn on the light for 20 minutes. Make sure your teeth are in contact with the whitening gel by applying a little pressure if necessary.
- After 20 minutes, remove the tray, rinse it and rinse your mouth as well.
- If you feel that your teeth are sensitive, you can use the blue remineralizing gel at the end of the treatment. Simply spread the gel on the sides of the tray, as for the gel, and then apply it to your teeth for 5 minutes. Do not rinse your mouth after 5 minutes. The remineralizing gel helps restructure your enamel and strengthen your teeth.
You can now go back to the mirror to see the first effects of your home tooth whitening. To do this, use your paper color chart again to evaluate the new shade obtained. You can then compare it with your original shade to determine the total gain.
Remember that your teeth whitening kit allows you to complete at least 10 sessions. If you decide to apply less gel by using only 1 ml on each side of the tray, for example, you can gain 5 additional sessions.
After your teeth whitening, it should be maintained with complementary products such as whitening charcoal powder and whitening toothpaste foam.
Nevertheless, you will be happy to have your smile back and to be able to show it off in society.
