As the days go by, you become increasingly dissatisfied with the color of your teeth. It must be admitted that even with daily brushing and good dietary hygiene, our teeth are constantly being used.
Therefore, it is normal for the whiteness of your teeth to fade over the years.
However, having dull teeth is no longer inevitable! You can regain a radiant smile by choosing a teeth-whitening solution.
The most commonly used method is to apply a whitening gel to the teeth:
- at home, with a tray and a mini lamp for a treatment course.
- in a beauty salon, with accelerated care sessions using professional teeth-whitening lamps and the expertise of professionals.
- at a dental clinic, with your dentist.
In all these cases, the most commonly used gels contain a dose of hydrogen peroxide, the most widespread whitening agent.
But you can now choose a new product, the PAP and even better, the PAP+, with results that are just as good, if not better. We'll explain why in a few lines.
We’ll explain why in a few lines.
Scientifically speaking, the PAP gel is more precisely called phthalimidoperoxycaproic acid gel.
This unpronounceable name has appeared in recent years in the world of teeth whitening.
Its specificity is that its whitening formula does not use hydrogen peroxide. It is, therefore, a novelty in the teeth-whitening market. With innovation comes scientific studies and tests conducted worldwide.
And all are unanimous about the whitening power of PAP.
The PAP+ formula is enriched, providing many benefits: it is very well tolerated, does not cause gum irritation, and causes very little or no tooth sensitivity.
Another point to consider: PAP+ is not subject to the legislation regulating hydrogen peroxide concentration since the whitening molecule does not contain it. As a beauty professional, you can legally use PAP+ while offering effective and safe care for your clients.
For salon care, we recommend using a gingival barrier for clients identified as having sensitive gums to avoid any discomfort.
The PAP+ gel can be used in a beauty salon or at home.
The care protocol is straightforward.
1. Individual
Here are the steps to follow:
- Brush your teeth with toothpaste or our cleaning spray.
- Use the paper shade guide to determine the shade of your teeth.
- Take the PAP+ tube out of your fridge.
- Take your tray and apply gel to each side, upper (1 ml) and lower (1 ml).
- Insert the tray into your mouth and press the start button.
- Store your tube in the fridge to maintain its properties.
- Keep the tray in your mouth for 15 minutes.
- Remove the tray, rinse your mouth, and then rinse the tray.
- Use the paper shade guide again to evaluate the improvement in your teeth’s shade.
Repeat this treatment daily for an optimal 10-day course. The content of our 25 ml tube is suitable for this course.
To maximize results, we recommend performing these steps just before bed, with no further oral intake, so the product continues to work during your sleep.
2. Beauty Salon
You should have all the products to perform a complete treatment: a professional shade guide to help determine the shade improvement, accessories for preparing the treatment, such as a cleaning spray and applicator sticks, protective bibs, and the essential products, including the PAP+ gel tube and the tray. And, of course, don’t forget the teeth-whitening lamp to maximize results.
Before starting the treatment, use the professional shade guide to identify your client’s initial tooth shade. Once your client is comfortably seated, start the treatment by applying the pre-activator cleaning spray to an applicator stick. Your client should rub their teeth for 30 seconds. After 30 seconds, they can either swallow the excess product or spit it out, but they should not rinse their mouth as the spray has cleaning and activating properties.
After the cleaning phase is complete, take the PAP+ gel tube out of the fridge. Get the tray ready and open the gel tube. Apply the gel inside the tray on the front of the upper jaw and then on the lower jaw. There’s no need to apply a thick layer (1 ml on the top + 1 ml on the bottom); it should not overflow from the tray.
You can then hand the tray to your client, who will insert it into their mouth. Once the tray is correctly positioned, give your client UV glasses, and position the professional teeth-whitening lamp 2 cm from their mouth. Then, set the treatment for 15 minutes. At the end of the session, the client rinses their mouth with some water, and you clean the tray to remove any excess product.
Repeat the process twice. Thus, a complete treatment lasts 3 times 15 minutes, so 45 minutes.
At the end of the 3 sessions, take the shade guide again to evaluate the shade improvement. We recommend offering a Duo treatment and suggesting a follow-up fixation treatment of 45 minutes within the week to perfect the teeth-whitening results.
Remember to store the PAP+ gel in the fridge as soon as you finish using it to maintain its whitening properties.
All our PAP+ gels comply with the legal framework with all the necessary tests and analyses for their market release.
Our PAP+ gel tube has a 25 ml capacity. It has a lot number and an expiration date. Beyond that date, it is not recommended to use the gel.
To ensure our products are as effective as possible, the expiration date is intentionally short. We, therefore, advise buying only what you need for the next two months at most.
It is important to store your tube in the fridge throughout its use to maintain its properties. Otherwise, the product’s effectiveness will deteriorate over time.
This 25 ml tube allows for 12 care sessions of 15 minutes each: 1 ml of gel on the top and 1 ml of gel on the bottom of a tray per session.
The shade improvement with PAP+ teeth-whitening gel varies depending on many factors: tartar, enamel texture, etc.
It is recommended to consult your dentist before teeth whitening to ensure good oral health and have a tartar cleaning for better results.
- Store the PAP+ gel tube in the refrigerator.
- Respect the expiration date indicated on the tube’s seal.
- Reseal the gel tube well after use.
- Not for use by people under 18, pregnant or breastfeeding women.
- Do not use in case of allergy to any ingredients.
- Do not use if you have identified oral health issues.
- Avoid contact with eyes, and do not ingest the product.
- If you experience significant discomfort during treatment, rinse thoroughly and stop using the product.
